**Bengaluru, June 12, 2025** – Coin collectors and history buffs are in for a treat as the first-ever Bengaluru Coin Exhibition 2025 opens its doors tomorrow, June 13th, at Shikshakara Sadana on Kempegowda Road. The three-day event promises a comprehensive journey through India’s rich coinage history, spanning over 2,500 years.

Organized by numismatists and institutions from across India, the exhibition will feature nearly one lakh coins, showcasing everything from ancient punch-marked coins to Mughal and colonial era currency, as well as modern commemorative issues. A particular highlight includes rare coins from the Ganga period, offering a glimpse into Karnataka’s ancient monetary systems.

Karnataka’s own numismatic legacy will be prominently featured, including coins dating back to the 6th century BCE and those from the Vijayanagara and Mysuru Wadiyar dynasties. A selection of gold coins once owned by Indian royalty will also be on display, highlighting the artistry of the era.

Adding to the event’s appeal are two major numismatic auctions, Falcon Auctions and Travancore Heritage Auctions, offering rare and collectible coins, banknotes, and medals. Over 100 top exhibitors and dealers from across the country will be present, facilitating sales, trades, and displays.

Visitors can also take advantage of free coin valuation services and guidance sessions, perfect for aspiring collectors. Expert lectures and knowledge sessions will also be held throughout the exhibition.
