**Former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani Dies in Ahmedabad Plane Crash; Death Toll Reaches 300**
**Ahmedabad, India – June 12, 2024** – Former Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani, has tragically died in a plane crash near Ahmedabad earlier today. The Air India Boeing 777, flight number 171 bound for London, crashed shortly after takeoff, killing all 242 passengers and crew on board.
Rupani was reportedly traveling to London to visit his daughter. News of his death has sent shockwaves through the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with party leaders gathering at his residence to mourn the loss.
Adding a somber note to the tragedy, reports indicate a connection between Rupani and the date of the crash.
