**West Indies Announce Squads for England and Ireland T20Is: Russell and Holder Return, Hope Takes the Helm**

**BRIDGETOWN, Barbados –** The West Indies Cricket Board (CWI) has announced its 15-man squads for the upcoming T20I series against England and Ireland. Veteran all-rounders Andre Russell and Jason Holder make their return to the squad.

Shai Hope will captain the team in both series, marking his first assignment as the full-time white-ball captain after succeeding Rovman Powell.

Several players will only feature in the England leg of the tour. Brandon King has requested leave for the Ireland series, while Andre Russell is expected to be unavailable due to commitments with the LA Knight Riders in the MLC. Test captain Roston Chase will also depart after the England series to join the Test squad preparing for the series against Australia.

Nicholas Pooran will be rested for both series following an extended stint in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Jyd Goolie, a member of the U19 World Cup 2016 squad and standout performer in the inaugural West Indies Breakout League, will replace Chase for the Ireland series. Keacy Carty will step in for King.

**England T20I Squad:**

Shai Hope (capt), Johnson Charles, Roston Chase, Matthew Forde, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Brandon King, Evin Lewis, Gudakesh Motie, Rovman Powell, Andre Russell, Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd.

**Ireland T20I Squad:**

Shai Hope (capt), Keacy Carty, Johnson Charles, Matthew Forde, Jyd Goolie, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Evin Lewis, Gudakesh Motie, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd.

The three-match T20 series against England kicks off on June 6th in Durham, followed by matches in Bristol (June 8th) and Southampton (June 10th). The Ireland T20Is will be held in Belfast from June 12th to June 15th.

Roston Chase will then join his red-ball teammates for the Test Series Camp in Barbados from June 13-21, ahead of the highly anticipated three-Test series against Australia for the Sir Frank Worrell Trophy.
