**Mysuru, June 3, 2025:** S.S. Sadananda, retired Joint Director of the Sericulture Department, passed away at his residence in Mysuru early Monday morning. He was 94 years old.
Mr. Sadananda had been ailing for some time. He is survived by his wife, four daughters, and one son.
The last rites will be performed at the foot of Chamundi Hills on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
The Retired Employees’ Association of the Sericulture Department, of which Mr. Sadananda was honorary president, has organized a condolence meeting for its members on Tuesday prior to the cremation.
