**Estranged Sisters Unite Amidst High-Profile Murder in New Prime Video Series “The Better Sister”**
**NEW YORK, NY** – Prime Video is set to premiere the gripping new series “The Better Sister” on May 28th, a thrilling murder mystery starring Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks as estranged sisters forced to confront their tumultuous past when a shocking crime throws their lives into chaos.
The series, based on the novel by Alafair Burke, follows Chloe (Biel), a successful magazine editor deeply involved in the #MeToo movement, and Nicky (Banks), a recovering addict residing in Cleveland. Their already strained relationship is further complicated by the murder of Adam (Corey Stoll), Nicky’s ex-husband and Chloe’s current husband, found dead in their luxurious East Hampton home.
Adding fuel to the fire, Adam’s son Ethan (Maxwell Acee Donovan), is charged with the murder. Despite their animosity, Chloe and Nicky must reluctantly join forces to clear Ethan’s name and uncover the truth behind Adam’s death, which is possibly tied to his shady business dealings.
