Project Esther, framed by its authors as a tool to combat anti-Semitism, is accused by critics of aiming to delegitimize organizations critical of Israeli policies by falsely associating them with Hamas. The initiative emerged following growing protests against U.S. support for Israel’s actions in Gaza, with some experts labeling them as potential genocide.
The document proposes a multifaceted approach, targeting pro-Palestine activists legally, politically, and financially. Key recommendations include denying access to universities for foreign students critical of Israel, suppressing “anti-Semitic content” on social media, and undermining the credibility of Palestine advocates through “legal research.”
