Sat May 31 17:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Seattle Braces for Cooler Temperatures and Breezy Showers After Summer-Like Friday

**SEATTLE, WA** – After basking in summer-like warmth on Friday, the Seattle area is in for a change this weekend. A cold front moving through the region on Saturday will bring cooler temperatures and light showers.

According to FOX 13 Seattle Meteorologist Ilona McCauley and the National Weather Service, rainfall is expected to be light, generally around a tenth to two-tenths of an inch, with potentially higher totals further north.

While Seattle and the Puget Sound area can expect breezy conditions with winds gusting up to 25 mph, areas east of the Cascades will experience stronger winds. A wind advisory is in effect from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. for Ellensburg and Wenatchee, where gusts could reach near 50 mph.

The good news? The brief spell of unsettled weather is expected to clear out, with mild afternoons returning throughout next week.
