**Ranchi, Jharkhand – May 31, 2025** – The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) announced the results for the Class 12 Science stream examinations today, May 31, 2025. This year saw a significant improvement in the pass percentage, with 79.26% of students clearing the exams, a nearly 7% increase compared to last year. Out of the 98,634 registered students, 78,186 appeared for the examination.

Topping the charts is Ankita Datta, a student from Rajkiyakrit +2 High School, Govindpur, who secured an impressive 477 out of 500 marks. Following closely behind is Ankit Kumar Sah, securing the second position with 476 marks. The third position is shared by three students: Kishore Kumar, Jagannath Singh Choudhary, and Himanshu Kumar, all scoring 474 marks.

The JAC conducted the Class 12 examinations from February 11 to March 4, 2025, across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams. Practical examinations were held between March 5 and March 20, 2025. The evaluation process commenced on April 12 and concluded by the end of April, with the board taking stringent measures to ensure transparency and accuracy throughout the process. Approximately 3.5 lakh students participated in the board examinations.
