**Jharkhand Board Announces Class 12 Science and Commerce Results: Girls Outshine Boys**

**Ranchi, Jharkhand – May 20, 2025** – The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) today announced the results for the Class 12 Science and Commerce stream examinations. The results, declared via a press conference this morning, are now available on the official websites jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in.

Dr. Natwa Hansda, Chairman of the JAC, congratulated the successful students and encouraged those who didn’t pass to persevere and try again.

This year, girls have once again outperformed boys. The overall pass percentage for Science is 79.26%, while Commerce recorded an impressive 91.2%. This marks a 7% improvement compared to last year’s results.

In a notable achievement, Latehar district has emerged as the top-performing district in both the Science and Commerce streams.

Students can access their results on the official websites approximately one hour after the press conference. To check their results online, students will need their admit card with their roll code and roll number.

If the official JAC website experiences heavy traffic, students can also check their results via SMS by typing ‘RESULT JAC12 ’ and sending it to 56263.

Students can obtain their official mark sheets from their respective schools shortly after the online announcement.

Last year, 40.78% of students passed the Class 12 examination with first division, and 55.71% with second division, with an overall passing percentage of 85.48%.

While the JAC released all three streams (Science, Commerce, and Arts) together last year, the Arts stream results will be announced separately next week.

To pass the JAC Class 12 examination, students need to score a minimum of 33% in each subject. The board also offers grace marks of up to 5% for students who are marginally failing in a subject.
