**Copenhagen, Denmark -** Former Union Minister MJ Akbar delivered a scathing critique of Pakistan’s diplomatic tactics while addressing an Indian audience in Copenhagen. Akbar, part of an all-party delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, accused Pakistan of duplicity and employing “poisoned tongue” diplomacy in the wake of escalating tensions following the Pahalgam terror attack.

“Pakistan has a government with a double face, which face do we talk to? Pakistan has a government with a forked tongue, whose tongue do we address?” Akbar questioned, employing a snake analogy to illustrate his point. He asserted that Pakistan uses dialogue as a smokescreen to prepare for future terrorist attacks, dismissing talks as a “bluff.”

Akbar praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s firm stance against Pakistan, stating that Modi has “called out Pakistan’s bluff” and made significant efforts to bring the nation “with a genetic disorder to its senses.”

The all-party delegation, which includes BJP MPs Daggubati Purandeswari and Samik Bhattacharya, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, Congress MPs Ghulam Ali Khatana and Amar Singh, and Ambassador Pankaj Saran, is part of a broader diplomatic outreach program initiated by the Indian government following Operation Sindoor. This operation was a military response to the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which resulted in the deaths of 26 people.

According to the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, the delegations aim to project India’s unified stance and unwavering commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms to key partner countries and the UN Security Council.
