Fri May 30 11:20:00 UTC 2025: **Manchester United to Face Hong Kong Without Key Players Amidst Post-Season Tour**
**Hong Kong** – Manchester United will be without key players Harry Maguire, Andre Onana, and Diogo Dalot for their final post-season friendly against Hong Kong, China on Friday. Manager Ruben Amorim confirmed the trio have traveled to India for a fan engagement opportunity.
“We have three players who have gone to India to give something to the fans around the world,” Amorim stated during a press conference. “They will not be available for the game [against Hong Kong].”
Luke Shaw is also ruled out of the game, who wasn’t involved in Malaysia, nor were Matthijs de Ligt, Mason Mount and Joshua Zirkzee. However, Amorim declared a clean bill of health otherwise.
The team is still recovering from jet lag following their previous match against the ASEAN All-Stars in Malaysia. Despite the fatigue, Amorim expressed his team’s enthusiasm for the Hong Kong match. “We are ready to play again and are really happy to be here. We enjoy the city and the weather is like Manchester!”
Amorim hinted at further squad rotation, similar to the substitutions made during the Kuala Lumpur game. Approximately 40,000 fans are expected to attend the match at the Hong Kong Stadium.
MUTV subscribers can watch the game live, with kick-off scheduled for 13:00 BST on Friday.
