**Seth Rogen Courts Daniel Day-Lewis for “The Studio” Guest Spot**
**Hollywood, CA –** Seth Rogen, co-creator and star of Apple TV+’s “The Studio,” has revealed his dream guest star for the show: the notoriously selective Daniel Day-Lewis. Speaking at a “For Your Consideration” event in Hollywood on Wednesday, Rogen expressed his admiration for the acclaimed actor. “He’s the greatest living actor,” Rogen stated. “His process is so specific that I think that would be an interesting thing to explore on the show.”
While Rogen admits he hasn’t yet reached out to Day-Lewis, he extended a public invitation: “Daniel, please consider a Zoom with us. We’ll pitch you a good idea!”
Rogen isn’t the only one with dream guest stars in mind. Co-creator Evan Goldberg suggested James Cameron, citing the director’s genius and occasional temper as ideal fodder for the show’s comedic exploration of Hollywood.
The cast also chimed in with their wish lists. Chase Sui Wonders, who plays Quinn, pitched Kristen Stewart, envisioning a storyline where Quinn’s overzealous identity politics lead to hilarious trouble while trying to relate to Stewart. Wonders also suggested a storyline involving Al Pacino and a reboot of “Scarface.”
Ike Barenholtz, portraying Sal Saperstein, has his sights set on Leonardo DiCaprio, calling him “the golden goose” and noting his lack of television experience. Dewayne Perkins, playing publicist Tyler, immediately named Zendaya, praising her as a “really good symbol of what Hollywood can be in a good way.” Keyla Monterroso Mejia, formerly of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” believes Larry David would be a perfect addition to the show’s chaotic atmosphere.
“The Studio,” co-created by Rogen and Goldberg, offers a satirical look behind the scenes of Hollywood. The show has been lauded for its sharp wit and celebrity cameos. The Apple TV+ series team is actively brainstorming and hoping that one or more of their dream guest stars will sign on for future episodes.
