These vehicles, designed by Mercedes-Benz, were obtained through the initiative of Niti Aayog, which accepted a proposal by District Collector A. Shyam Prasad.

Speaking to *The Hindu*, Collector Prasad explained that the vehicles will serve as mobile Giri Bazaars, providing essential commodities like rice and pulses at affordable rates to tribal communities in areas like Palakonda, Kurupam, and Gummalakshmipuram.
