**Telangana Gears Up for Grand State Formation Day Celebrations**
**Hyderabad, India – May 27, 2025** – Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has instructed officials to prepare for large-scale celebrations of Telangana State Formation Day on June 2nd. The directive emphasizes the importance of marking the occasion with events that reflect the state’s “glory and prestige.”
Celebrations are planned for the state capital and all district headquarters, with in-charge ministers leading events in the districts. A delegation from a Japanese city and the winners of the ongoing Miss World pageant are expected to attend.
The festivities will include a tribute to martyrs, a flag-hoisting ceremony, a march past, and a medal distribution ceremony at Parade Grounds, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
Last year’s celebrations were muted due to election restrictions, prompting officials to ensure this year’s event is a grand success. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao will oversee arrangements.
Departments have been instructed to develop events that highlight Telangana’s identity and achievements. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka encouraged officials to share any innovative ideas to enhance the celebrations.
