**San Jose, CA -** Zscaler (ZS), a leading cloud security company, announced today it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Red Canary, a provider of managed detection and response (MDR) services. The deal, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions, is expected to close in August 2025.
The acquisition marks a significant step for Zscaler as it seeks to build an “AI-powered SOC of the future,” integrating Red Canary’s threat intelligence and MDR capabilities into its existing Zero Trust Exchange platform.
