**Trump Warns Putin is ‘Playing With Fire’ as Ukraine Conflict Rages On**
**WASHINGTON, D.C. –** Former President Donald Trump has issued a series of sharp warnings to Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. In a Truth Social post on Tuesday, Trump asserted that Putin is “playing with fire,” claiming that “really bad things” would have already happened to Russia were it not for him.
“What Vladimir Putin doesn’t realize is that if it weren’t for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean REALLY BAD. He’s playing with fire!” Trump wrote.
The statement drew a response from Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia and former Russian president, who cautioned that the “really bad thing” Trump referenced could be World War III.
Trump also criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stating, “Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don’t like it, and it better stop.”
Trump’s recent remarks come as Ukraine faces intensified attacks from Russia. Zelenskyy reported on Monday that Russia launched the largest number of drones against Ukrainian cities since the beginning of the war, deploying 355 attack UAVs and 9 cruise missiles. Zelenskyy emphasized that Russia can only be constrained by force and called for strength from the United States, Europe, and other nations to achieve real peace.
Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg (Ret.), former White House envoy for Ukraine, discussed President Trump’s position on “Fox & Friends,” underscoring the administration’s continued push for peace in Ukraine.
