The Association had been protesting Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL)’s transport tender rates, demanding an increase.
In a press release, the Association cited concerns for the public as a key factor in their decision to end the strike. They have requested the opportunity to participate in the newly floated tenders.
The strike had resulted in fuel shortages at retail outlets throughout the region, causing inconvenience to motorists. The decision to end the strike comes as a welcome relief to the public.
