**Indian Delegation Embarks on Global Outreach to Combat Terrorism, Highlights Pakistan’s Role**
**Manama, Bahrain – May 27, 2025** – An all-party Indian parliamentary delegation, led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda, is currently engaged in a global outreach initiative to garner international support against terrorism and expose Pakistan’s alleged involvement. The delegation, part of a larger effort involving seven groups traveling to 33 capitals, is focused on highlighting India’s perspective following the recent Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 people, and India’s retaliatory “Operation Sindoor.”
The delegation made a notable stop in Bahrain, where they met with First Deputy Speaker Abdulnabi Salman Ahmed and engaged with the local Indian diaspora. They also made an unannounced visit to the Bab Al Bahrain market, interacting with both Indian and Pakistani workers.
Key to India’s message is that the fight against terrorism is not merely a bilateral issue with Pakistan, but a global challenge akin to the threat posed by ISIS. AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi emphasized the universal condemnation of terrorism within Islam, quoting the Quran on the sanctity of innocent life.
The delegation aims to shape international opinion, particularly within the Muslim world, by emphasizing that Pakistan’s Muslim identity does not absolve it from accountability for alleged support of terrorism. BJP MP Nishikant Dube highlighted the contrasting treatment of minorities in India and Pakistan, pointing to the decline of the Hindu population in Pakistan since independence.
The delegation made it clear that any future talks with Pakistan would be contingent on the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and a verifiable end to cross-border terrorism. Following their visit to Bahrain, the delegation has moved on to Kuwait to continue their diplomatic efforts. The outreach comes after a period of heightened tension between India and Pakistan, triggered by the Pahalgam attack and India’s subsequent Operation Sindoor, followed by retaliatory attempts by Pakistan.
