Wed May 28 16:40:00 UTC 2025: **Bangladesh Skipper Confident Ahead of T20I Series Against Pakistan**
**Lahore, Pakistan – May 28** – Bangladesh captain Litton Das expressed strong confidence in his team’s ability to defeat any opponent as they prepared to face Pakistan in the first of a three-match T20I series in Lahore. Despite a recent series loss to the UAE, Das emphasized the team’s determination to learn from past mistakes and improve their consistency.
“We have the belief that we can beat any team in the world,” Das stated in a pre-series press conference. “We have to play good cricket. We are not focused on the opposition.”
Bangladesh’s recent performance has come under scrutiny after they squandered a 1-0 lead against the UAE, ultimately losing the series 2-1. Das acknowledged the need for greater consistency to compete with top teams globally.
“We would be among the top teams in the world if we were a consistent side,” he said. “We are working towards becoming more consistent.”
The captain also addressed concerns about the team’s batting performance, including his own form. “I know how important my batting role is in this team. I will try my best to stay consistent,” he said, adding that a combined batting effort would be crucial for success.
The three-match T20I series begins today, May 28th, and concludes on June 1st, with all matches to be held in Lahore.
