Wed May 28 02:20:00 UTC 2025: **Haliburton’s Father Returns to Arena as Son Leads Pacers to Game 4 Victory**

**INDIANAPOLIS** – Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers had extra motivation in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks as his father, John Haliburton, was back in attendance after being barred from previous games.

John Haliburton had been suspended from attending games after running onto the court to confront Giannis Antetokounmpo following the Pacers’ series-clinching win over the Milwaukee Bucks. His actions, while born of pride, were deemed inappropriate.

The Pacers organization and league officials cleared John to return for Game 4, a decision welcomed by Pacers coach Rick Carlisle and center Myles Turner, both who voiced their support for a father’s right to watch his son play.

Tyrese Haliburton didn’t disappoint, starting the game strong with 15 points, six assists, and five rebounds in the first quarter, leading the Pacers to a 43-35 lead over the Knicks. Haliburton was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line and 3-for-3 from behind the arc. While his father watched from a suite, his presence was a welcomed one for the team.
