**Nate Diaz Hints at UFC Return, Eyes McGregor Trilogy and BMF Title Contenders**

**Stockton, CA** – MMA icon Nate Diaz has signaled a potential return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), stating he has “unfinished business” and is looking for a worthwhile opponent. The Stockton native, currently a free agent after completing his UFC contract in 2022, has spent the last two years boxing Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal but now appears to be setting his sights back on the Octagon.

“I plan on going back to the UFC,” Diaz declared on the HJR Podcast. “If they have me, I would like to go back and f*** whoop someone’s ass there.”

While unimpressed with many fighters on the current roster, Diaz expressed a clear interest in settling the score with long-time rival Conor McGregor. The pair famously split their two previous encounters, with Diaz submitting McGregor in their first bout at UFC 196 and McGregor securing a majority decision victory in their rematch at UFC 202. “Me and him for sure got unfinished business. Got to happen,” Diaz emphasized.

Beyond a potential McGregor trilogy, Diaz also acknowledged the “BMF” title as the most exciting element within the UFC. He fought for the inaugural BMF belt in 2019 against Jorge Masvidal, losing due to a doctor’s stoppage. Diaz even took a shot at current BMF champion Max Holloway, saying, “I hope you know you’re wearing my belt.” Diaz also mentioned the possibility of a bout with Ilia Topuria, the former featherweight champion, but ultimately disregarded him due to his size.

While a return to the UFC is not yet guaranteed, Diaz’s comments suggest that a comeback could be in the works, especially if the right fight presents itself. MMA fans eagerly await developments as the possibility of a Diaz-McGregor trilogy, or a BMF title run, looms large.
