**TIRUVANNAMALAI, May 25, 2025** – A team from the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) visited Jawadhu Hills in Tiruvannamalai today to assess the impact of its community-driven beekeeping project on local tribal farmers. Led by Chief General Manager R. Anand, the team inspected beekeeping units and interacted with farmers to understand the challenges and opportunities presented by the initiative.

The NABARD project, implemented in collaboration with Srinivasan Services Trust (SST), the social arm of TVS Group, aims to transform traditional beekeeping into a sustainable and profitable value chain. The project provides technical training, beehive boxes, and protective equipment to farmers, enabling them to commercialize beekeeping as a viable rural enterprise.
