**’Ted Lasso’ Season 4: AFC Richmond Lives On!**

**LONDON, UK** – Hold on to your biscuits, *Ted Lasso* fans! Emmy-winning actress Hannah Waddingham has confirmed that filming for the fourth season of the beloved Apple TV+ sports comedy series will begin this summer. The news comes as a delightful surprise to many, who thought the third season had marked the end of AFC Richmond’s journey.

Waddingham, who plays AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton, made the announcement during an appearance on the UK morning show *Capital Breakfast* while promoting her upcoming film, *Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning*. “We thought we’d mourned the loss, and now it’s rising from the dead,” she exclaimed.

Details surrounding the plot of Season 4 remain tightly guarded, but Jason Sudeikis, who stars as the titular Ted Lasso, previously revealed that the new season will feature Lasso coaching a women’s soccer team.

Brett Goldstein, who portrays the iconic Roy Kent, has said that he is returning in the capacity of an executive producer and writer.

The decision to move forward with a fourth season was heavily reliant on Sudeikis’s creative vision. Channing Dungey, Chair and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group/WBD U.S. Networks, said that both Warner Bros. and Apple were open to more seasons if Sudeikis was comfortable with the direction of the show.

The first three seasons of *Ted Lasso*, which has garnered 13 Emmy Awards, are currently streaming on Apple TV+.
