**DeFrancesco Returns to Indianapolis 500, Set to Start 16th**
**INDIANAPOLIS, IN –** After a year away from the Brickyard, Devlin DeFrancesco is back in the Indianapolis 500! The Canadian driver will start the 109th running of the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” from the 16th position on the grid, having clocked an impressive four-lap average qualifying speed of 231.575 mph around the iconic 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval.
DeFrancesco, who previously competed in the IndyCar Series with Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport in 2022 and 2023, spent 2024 focusing on IMSA competition. His return to IndyCar and the Indy 500 is generating excitement among fans.
The Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for Sunday, May 25, 2025, with the green flag waving at 12:45 p.m. ET. Fans can catch the action live on Fox, with Will Buxton handling play-by-play duties alongside analysts James Hinchcliffe and Townsend Bell.
