**VIJAYAWADA – May 26, 2025** – Police intensified their investigation into the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) recruitment scam on Monday, grilling suspended IPS officer and former APPSC Secretary P. Sitarama Anjaneyulu and Camsign Media Private Limited director P. Madhusudhana Rao. The alleged scam involves irregularities in the recruitment process for 169 Group-I Services posts between 2018 and 2021.

The investigation centers on allegations that the APPSC violated established rules by outsourcing the digital evaluation of answer sheets to Camsign Media Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based agency.

Following a complaint, the Suryaraopet police registered a case, leading to the arrest of both Mr. Sitarama Anjaneyulu and Mr. Madhusudhana Rao.

Under a two-day police custody order, authorities questioned Mr. Sitarama Anjaneyulu about the reasons for bypassing APPSC regulations, the unauthorized removal of answer papers, and the circumstances surrounding Camsign Media Private Limited’s involvement in the evaluation process. They also inquired about potential misuse of funds.

Mr. Madhusudhana Rao was questioned about the identities of the individuals who evaluated the answer papers, the nature of their connection with Camsign Media, and the compensation provided to them.
