**Aberdeen Celebrates Scottish Cup Victory with Sunday Parade**
Aberdeen, Scotland – Aberdeen Football Club (AFC) will hold a celebratory parade this Sunday, May 25th at 12 noon, to commemorate their Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup Final victory. The parade, organized in conjunction with Aberdeen City Council, will allow fans to celebrate the team’s achievement.
An open-top bus carrying the victorious squad will travel down Union Street, along Union Terrace, and Schoolhill, before concluding on Broad Street at the Town Hall. There, the team will be formally welcomed by Lord Provost Dr. David Cameron at a civic reception.
“On behalf of the city of Aberdeen, I offer my warmest congratulations to Aberdeen Football Club on their Scottish Cup Final triumph against Celtic,” said Dr. Cameron. “This is a fantastic achievement not only for the football club but for our entire city.”
AFC Chief Executive Alan Burrows expressed his gratitude to the city council and the Lord Provost for their support in organizing the event on short notice. “We look forward to celebrating one of our greatest ever cup victories on Sunday with our supporters,” Burrows said. “This is truly a remarkable achievement for the Club.”
Aberdeen City Council has announced full road closures along the parade route. Fans are encouraged to attend and show their support as the city celebrates the Dons’ 20th major honour.
