**Williams Exceeds Expectations, Sainz and Albon Impressed by Team’s Early Season Form**

Monaco – While Max Verstappen leads the Monaco Grand Prix after a safety car restart, away from the track, Williams is emerging as a surprise contender in the 2025 Formula 1 season, exceeding expectations after a promising start. Carlos Sainz, who joined the Grove-based team from Ferrari for the 2025 campaign, admits he’s been pleasantly surprised by Williams’ performance, a sentiment echoed by teammate Alex Albon.

Despite the challenges of the Monaco GP so far, Sainz, has secured points in four of the seven races, with Albon impressing even further with six point finishes, coming in fifth at Imola. Albon even challenged for a podium finish at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
