**Wake Forest Golfers Kennon and Meisel Named PING All-Region Selections**
**CARLSBAD, Calif. – May 24, 2025** – Seniors Scotty Kennon and Marshall Meisel of the Wake Forest men’s golf team have been named to the NCAA Division I PING All-Region team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) today. Kennon earns the honor for the second straight year, while this marks Meisel’s first All-Region selection.
Both golfers are currently competing in the NCAA Championships in Carlsbad, California. Kennon is ranked No. 27 and Meisel is ranked No. 33 in the PGA Tour University rankings.
Kennon leads the Demon Deacons with a 71.42 stroke average and has secured five top-10 finishes this season. His impressive collegiate career includes two individual titles: the 2024 Calusa Cup and the 54th Furman Invitational, where he set a tournament record with a score of 202 (-11).
Meisel boasts the second-lowest stroke average on the team (71.52) and has been Wake Forest’s top finisher in the past three tournaments. He recorded three under-par rounds at the Battle at Briars Creek, finishing tied for fourth at 6-under par.
