Thu May 22 14:34:37 UTC 2025: ## MAHE Mangaluru to Hold 32nd Convocation Ceremony

**Mangaluru, May 22, 2025** – Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Mangaluru campus, is set to hold its 32nd convocation ceremony today, May 22, 2025, at the TMA Pai International Convention Centre. According to Pro-Vice Chancellor of MAHE, Dilip G. Naik, a total of 1,367 candidates will be awarded degrees, with 616 receiving them in person and 751 in absentia.

Abhijat Sheth, President of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, will deliver the convocation address at 3 p.m.

B. Unnikrishnan, Dean of Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangaluru, highlighted that the majority of degree recipients are from the medical discipline. Of those attending in person, 70 have completed PhDs, 285 are undergraduates, and 261 are postgraduates. The candidates receiving their degrees in absentia include 481 undergraduates, 179 postgraduates, and 91 PhD holders.

Gold medals will be awarded, and meritorious students will be recognized for their achievements during the ceremony. In addition to KMC, MAHE also includes the Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCDOS) in Mangaluru.
