**Kozhikode, May 22, 2025:** Kozhikode district witnessed a 79.81% pass rate in the Class XII state syllabus examinations for the 2024-25 academic year, announced on Thursday. While 31,029 students out of 38,878, representing 174 schools, are now eligible for higher studies, the district’s overall performance has slipped compared to last year’s 81.25%. Kozhikode currently ranks fourth in the state behind Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Kannur. A significant number of students, 3,576, achieved A+ grades in all subjects, showcasing individual excellence.

Four schools proudly reported 100% pass rates: Presentation Higher Secondary School, Chevayur; CM Higher Secondary School, Mannur North; Sevamandir Higher Secondary School, Ramanattukara; and Karuna Speech and Hearing Higher Secondary School, Eranhipalam.
