**THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, May 22, 2025** – The Kerala government has approved a ₹75 lakh grant for the seventh edition of the International Mountain Biking Challenge (MTB Kerala 2025), solidifying the state’s position on the global mountain biking circuit.

The event, scheduled to be held at the scenic Priyadarshini Tea Plantation in Mananthavady, is expected to attract a field of elite cyclists from India and abroad. The funding will support the logistical demands of the championship, including travel and accommodation for participants, prize money, and overall event expenses.

MTB Kerala is a State Tourism department initiative organized by the Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Society (KATPS) and the Wayanad District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), in collaboration with the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and the Cycling Federation of India (CFI).
