**Los Angeles, CA -** The Los Angeles Dodgers have activated outfielder Teoscar Hernández from the injured list, the team announced today. To make room on the roster, outfielder James Outman has been optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Hernández’s return comes at a crucial time for the Dodgers, who are looking to bounce back after a three-game sweep at the hands of the Los Angeles Angels, their first such series loss to their cross-town rivals in 15 years. Before being sidelined with a strained left groin on May 5th, Hernández was enjoying a stellar season, batting .315/.333/.600 with a .933 OPS, nine home runs, and 34 RBIs in 33 games. His RBI total still ranks among the National League’s top ten.

“We need his bat back in the lineup,” said manager Dave Roberts after the game. “Teoscar was hitting the ball great before the injury, and his presence will definitely boost our offense.”

Outman, on the other hand, struggled to find consistency at the plate. He hit just .125 in 24 at-bats while filling in for Hernández. He now heads to Triple-A, where he was batting .254, hoping to regain his form and earn another call-up.

“James needs regular at-bats to get his rhythm back,” Roberts stated. “He has a lot of potential, and we believe he’ll come back stronger after some time in Oklahoma City.”

Hernández returns to a Dodgers team that has undergone significant changes during his absence. KBO standout Hyeseong Kim has emerged as a key contributor since making his first start on the same day Hernández was injured. The Dodgers have also added top catching prospect Dalton Rushing to the roster as Will Smith’s backup. Furthermore, the team has parted ways with veteran catcher Austin Barnes and veteran utility player Chris Taylor.

Despite the changes, the Dodgers will be counting on Hernández to provide the offensive spark they need to get back on track and end their current three-game losing streak.
