Tue May 20 02:40:00 UTC 2025: **WWE Raw Recap: World Title Picture Heats Up, Money in the Bank Qualifiers Continue**

Greenville, NC – WWE Raw rolled into Greenville, North Carolina, this week, continuing the build towards Money in the Bank while setting the stage for Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show heavily featured the World Heavyweight Championship picture, with champion Jey Uso facing a gauntlet of challengers.

The night opened with a confrontation between World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and challenger Logan Paul, with Gunther joining the mix to hype Paul as champion, stating how good for business it would be. Later in the night, Uso defeated Bron Breakker until Seth Rollins attacked Uso, with Paul punching him again to further their Saturday Night’s Main Event rivalry.

Two Women’s Money in the Bank triple threat qualifier matches took place. Roxanne Perez defeated Becky Lynch and Natalya, securing her spot in the ladder match after Lyra Valkyria interfered in the match between Perez and Lynch. Natalya was also a great foil in this matchup, allowing many fun triple spots like a double Pop-Rox and double sharpshooter. The other qualifier saw Rhea Ripley defeat Kairi Sane and Zoey Stark. Stark suffered a knee injury during the match after going for the sniper missile dropkick, and the match effectively became a singles match. Sane made her official return to WWE in this match. Following her victory, Ripley recruited Perez into The Judgment Day, potentially hinting at Perez’s chances of winning the Money in the Bank briefcase.

In other action, Sheamus defeated Grayson Waller in a surprisingly lengthy match. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and JD McDonagh) defeated AJ Styles and Penta El Zero Miedo, with McDonagh standing out for his in-ring performance.
