**COIMBATORE, INDIA – May 19, 2025** – A new jewellery park, costing ₹126 crore (approximately $15 million USD), is set to be constructed in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, aimed at supporting the region’s goldsmiths and jewelry businesses. The announcement was made by MSME Minister T.M. Anbarasan on Monday, following a meeting with representatives from numerous jewelry associations.

The park, situated on 2.46 acres within the Kurichi SIDCO industrial estate, will provide state-of-the-art facilities including a conference hall, training center, 3D printing capabilities, laser cutting technology, hallmarking services, and dedicated product display areas. Minister Anbarasan stated that the park would address concerns raised by stakeholders, such as the need for secure storage for gold waste and dedicated office space.
