**Bluffton Family Welcomes Mother’s Day Baby**

Bluffton residents Brooke Howell and Emanuelle Hargrove celebrated Mother’s Day with the arrival of their new baby girl, Kysleigh Amour. Born early Sunday morning at 5:40 am at the Beaufort Memorial Collins Birthing Center, Kysleigh weighed in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces. The newborn was gifted a handmade crocheted hat and flower crafted by the BMH Crafters.

**Yemassee Honors Retiring Lieutenant Lesley Jamison**

After nearly three decades of service, Lieutenant Lesley Jamison has retired from the Yemassee Police Department. Town officials lauded Lt. Jamison’s unwavering dedication, commitment to justice, and compassion for the community. Described as a mentor, advocate, and friend, Lt. Jamison’s legacy will endure within the Yemassee Police Department and throughout the town.

* **SMC Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and Dean’s List:** Sierra Gies of Bluffton, representing Women’s Soccer at Spartanburg Methodist College, was named to the Spring 2025 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and Dean’s List.
