**LENS, FRANCE -** RC Lens delivered a dominant performance, crushing AS Monaco 4-0 in a match that saw Monaco reduced to ten men and struggling to find any rhythm.
The first half ended with Lens leading 1-0 thanks to a Neil El Aynaoui header in the 12th minute, assisted by Nampalys Mendy. However, the game truly exploded in the second half.
El Aynaoui added his second in the 66th minute, firing a right-footed shot into the top of the net. Adrien Thomasson extended the lead to 3-0 in the 78th minute following a corner.
