Sun May 18 13:30:00 UTC 2025: **IIT Entrance Exam: JEE Advanced 2025 Concludes, Answer Keys and Analysis Expected Soon**

**Kanpur, May 18, 2025** – The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025, the gateway to India’s prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), concluded today with the completion of Paper 2 at 5:30 PM. Over 250,000 top rankers from JEE Main 2025 were eligible to appear for the exam, administered by IIT Kanpur.

Paper 1 was held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and according to initial student feedback, was considered to be of moderate difficulty overall. Mathematics and Physics sections were rated as moderate, while Chemistry was perceived as relatively easier. Paper 2, held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, was considered lengthy and more challenging than Paper 1, with fewer paragraph and matrix questions and a higher concentration of integer-type questions.

Experts suggest the overall difficulty level of JEE Advanced 2025 was higher than the previous year, with expectations that the cutoff scores will likely drop to between 90 and 95.

Students can expect unofficial answer keys and detailed exam analysis to be released online shortly. IIT Kanpur will release the official response sheets on May 22nd and the official answer key on May 26th at jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates will have an opportunity to raise objections to the provisional answer key within a designated window.

The results of JEE Advanced 2025 are scheduled to be declared on June 2nd. Qualified candidates will then be eligible for JoSAA counselling, expected to begin around June 3rd, for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at IITs.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, for updates, including question paper PDFs, answer keys, and results.
