**Good Fashion Fund Invests $1.75 Million in Coimbatore Textile Company, Sharadha Terry Products**

**COIMBATORE, INDIA – May 17, 2025 –** The Good Fashion Fund (GFF), an impact investment fund managed by FOUNT, announced today a $1.75 million investment in Coimbatore-based Sharadha Terry Products. This investment underscores GFF’s commitment to supporting sustainable practices within the Indian textile industry.

According to Jayanth Kashyap, Investment Lead of GFF, this is one of four Indian textile/apparel companies, three of which are based in Tamil Nadu, that have received nearly $10 million in long-term debt investment from GFF. The investments are primarily earmarked for environment and sustainability-related production technologies and renewable energy generation. The investment in Sharadha Terry Products will be for a maximum of five years.

GFF, which raised close to $20 million in its first phase, is currently raising funds for its second phase and anticipates deploying approximately $60 million by late 2025 or early 2026 across India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Turkey.

“India is an important textile producer nation, and we will be making more investments here,” said Mr. Kashyap. He also noted that companies benefiting from GFF investments will be well-positioned to meet mandatory ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) norms for exports to the European Union.

This investment highlights the growing focus on sustainability within the global textile industry and the importance of financial support for companies adopting eco-friendly practices.
