**KANNUR, INDIA – May 18, 2025** – Minister for Archaeology, Registration and Museums, Ramachandran Kadannapally, emphasized the crucial role of public involvement in national development during the inauguration of a mass cleaning drive at Chalathodu on Sunday. The initiative, a joint effort by the Haritha Keralam District Mission and Janakiya Samithi, targeted a 7-kilometer stretch of land from K. V. Peedika in Chembilode to Nadal Bridge in Chalathodu.

Minister Kadannapally actively participated in the cleaning effort alongside approximately 200 volunteers. The team included members of the Janakiya Samithi, Student Police Cadets from Chaliyam School, students and teachers from Chala and Thatamkuni Madrasas, and enthusiastic local residents, particularly women and children.

The cleaning drive was divided into four segments: Jilsaramukku, Maniyalamchira, Chala, and from MIMS Hospital to Nadal Bridge.
