Sat May 17 01:10:00 UTC 2025: **Knicks Dominate Celtics in Game 4, Anunoby Shrugs Off Injury Scare**

**NEW YORK, NY** – The New York Knicks took a commanding 3-1 series lead over the defending champion Boston Celtics with a 121-113 victory at Madison Square Garden on Monday night. The win was highlighted by a resurgent performance from OG Anunoby, who shook off an early injury scare to contribute 20 points, including crucial baskets in the second half and fourth quarter.

Anunoby briefly exited the game in the first quarter, clutching his left hamstring, a worrying echo of the injury that sidelined him during last year’s playoffs. However, he returned to the court and delivered a game-changing performance. His 3-pointer late in the third quarter put the Knicks ahead, setting the stage for a dominant final period.

“I thought OG gave us a huge game,” said Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau, praising Anunoby’s toughness and disruptive defensive presence against Celtics star Jayson Tatum.

Tatum, who led all scorers with 42 points, suffered an apparent ankle or foot injury late in the fourth quarter, further compounding the Celtics’ woes.

Anunoby, who signed a massive contract extension in the offseason, also played a key role in the fourth quarter, driving to the basket for a layup and sinking a crucial 3-pointer to break a tie. A breakaway dunk off a steal sealed the deal.

“It felt a little weird” in the first quarter but he’s OK. “It was amazing and an electric [atmosphere]. We played hard and got stops and got out in transition and scored,” said Anunoby.

Despite the Celtics’ coach, Joe Mazzulla, acknowledging Anunoby’s offensive impact, The Knicks now have a chance to close out the series in Game 5 on Wednesday in Boston.
