**BURBANK, CA** – Disney+ is gearing up for a jam-packed summer with a fresh slate of original films, series, and a sampling of content from Hulu and ESPN for standalone subscribers. The streaming giant, home to movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more, unveiled its upcoming lineup in a press release.
Among the highly anticipated premieres is the fifth season of Disney Branded Television’s “Phineas and Ferb,” launching with the first 10 episodes which are sure to deliver more inventive adventures for the stepbrothers and Candace’s relentless attempts to “bust” them.
National Geographic also brings “Ocean with David Attenborough,” featuring the renowned naturalist’s exploration of Earth’s underwater habitats and a message of hope for marine life recovery.
Disney+ also dives into compelling stories with “SALLY,” a documentary revealing the life of Sally Ride, the first American woman in space, told through the eyes of her life partner, Tam O’Shaughnessy. Viewers can also experience the magic of “Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical,” bringing the stage production of the beloved animated film to their screens.
Marvel fans can look forward to “Ironheart,” a series set after “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” which premieres with its first three episodes on June 24, 2025, at 6pm PT. This series introduces Riri Williams, a genius inventor whose iron suits lead her to clash with the mysterious Parker Robbins, a.k.a. “The Hood.”
For sports enthusiasts, Disney+ is introducing “Vibe Check,” a new all-female-led sports-focused studio show that will premiere three times a week, offering fast-paced coverage and expert analysis of every sport.
In June, Disney+ standalone subscribers will have access to sampling of Hulu and ESPN content. This includes popular Hulu series such as “Snowfall,” “9-1-1: Lone Star,” and “Cruel Summer,” along with films like “Alien: Resurrection” and “Predators.” ESPN live events, studio shows, and original programming will also be available, including WNBA games, PGA TOUR LIVE events, and select “30 for 30s.”
