**Andhra Pradesh POLYCET 2025 Results Announced: Students Achieve Impressive Pass Percentage**

**VIJAYAWADA, INDIA – May 14, 2025** – The Department of Technical Education in Andhra Pradesh today announced the results of the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) 2025, revealing an overall pass percentage of 95.36%. Out of 1,39,840 students who appeared for the exam held on April 3, 2025, an impressive 1,33,358 candidates have successfully passed.

Girls outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 96.9% compared to the 94.38% achieved by their male counterparts. A remarkable 19 students secured a perfect score of 120 out of 120.

To promote equitable opportunities in technical education, all SC and ST candidates who took the test have been assigned ranks, empowering them to pursue early career jobs or entrepreneurship.

The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) conducted the entrance exam for admissions into diploma courses in Engineering and non-Engineering streams at 87 government polytechnics, 180 private polytechnics, and private engineering colleges across the state.

Among districts, Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) district recorded the highest pass percentage at 98.66%, while Anantapur registered the lowest at 93.11%. Visakhapatnam district saw the highest number of participants, with 12,365 candidates.

Minister for Human Resource Development (HRD) Nara Lokesh congratulated the successful candidates, stating, “Glad to see that girls have fared better with 96.9%, raising hopes to see more women entrepreneurs and technocrats from A.P. in near future as dreamt of by government.” He also commended the 19 students who achieved a perfect score.
