**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh –** Kesineni Srinivas, a former Member of Parliament, has filed a complaint with Vijayawada Police alleging he received a death threat from Chakravarthy Kadiyala. Srinivas claims Kadiyala, in a phone call on May 11th, threatened to kill him unless he withdrew Kadiyala’s and his brother (Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath’s) names from a letter sent to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigating a liquor scam.
The complaint details a missed call from an unknown number followed by a threatening call where Kadiyala allegedly used abusive language. Srinivas also reported an act of vandalism outside his home on May 9th, although details remain unclear due to poor CCTV footage. He is urging police to investigate Kadiyala’s call records and potential accomplices, and to file a First Information Report (FIR) without delay. Police have reportedly already visited the site of the vandalism.
