NEW DELHI, May 13, 2025 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of the Class 12 board examinations today, revealing a significant achievement for female students. Girls outperformed boys by over 5 percentage points, achieving a pass percentage of 91.64% compared to boys’ 85.70%.

The overall pass percentage for the 1.69 million students who appeared for the exams stands at 88.39%, a slight increase from last year. A notable number of students achieved high marks: over 115,000 scored above 90%, and more than 24,000 secured above 95%. Transgender candidates achieved a 100% pass rate, a considerable improvement from last year’s 50%.

Over 129,000 students have been placed in compartmental examinations. Students can access their results online through the links provided by the CBSE. The board also released Digilocker access codes for students to obtain digital copies of their mark sheets and certificates.
