**TIRUVANNAMALAI, Tamil Nadu –** L. Jayasudha, the Tiruvannamalai Central District Secretary of the AIADMK, has denied allegations that she pretended to donate blood at a blood donation camp held to celebrate the 71st birthday of party general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami.
A video circulating on social media appeared to show Ms. Jayasudha participating in the donation process, only to leave shortly afterward. This prompted public criticism. Ms. Jayasudha clarified that she was advised not to donate due to her diabetes after consultation with a doctor at the camp. Approximately 70 others did donate blood at the event, she stated. She attributed the release of the video to those seeking to damage her reputation within the AIADMK. The incident occurred on Sunday, May 11th, at a camp organized by the party’s local IT wing in Chetpet.
