**NEW DELHI, May 12, 2025** – A Tamil Nadu doctor seriously injured in a terror attack in Pahalgam, South Kashmir on April 22nd, is receiving support from the Tamil Nadu state government. A.K.S. Vijayan, The Hindu’s special representative in Delhi, visited Dr. Parameswaran at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Sunday. The visit, undertaken on the instructions of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, included assurances that the state government will cover all medical and other expenses related to Dr. Parameswaran’s treatment. The Resident Commissioner of the Tamil Nadu House, Ashish Kumar, accompanied Mr. Vijayan during the hospital visit.
