**Hyderabad, India** – Veteran Telugu actor Sumanth is set to star in “Anaganaga,” a heartwarming film streaming on ETV Win from May 15th. The film, a remake of the Marathi movie “Eka Kaay Zala,” sees Sumanth playing a school teacher who uses storytelling to engage students with learning challenges. This marks his first time portraying a father on screen.
In an interview, Sumanth emphasized his commitment to choosing roles based on strong scripts. He revealed a rigorous selection process, reading numerous scripts before committing to a project, a practice he’s maintained since his debut in 1999. He expressed his preference for reading scripts over listening to narrations, particularly for dialogue-heavy films.

He is open to more grey-shaded characters, despite not receiving many such offers after his antagonist role in “Sita Ramam.”
