**Kochi, May 12, 2025** – A 35-year-old Kozhikode native was arrested by Kochi Harbour police for allegedly impersonating a Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) official and inquiring about the location of the aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. The man, who identified himself as Raghavan during a phone call to the naval base last Friday, is facing charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for cheating by impersonation and the non-bailable Official Secrets Act. Police are investigating his claim of undergoing psychiatric treatment.
