Mon May 12 12:56:16 UTC 2025: ## BJP Denies Involvement in Karachi Bakery Attack, Criticizes Telangana Congress

**Hyderabad, May 12, 2025** – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana has vehemently denied any involvement in the weekend attack on a Karachi Bakery outlet in Shamshabad. Former MLC N. Ramchander Rao stated that allegations made by Minister Seethakka were baseless and that the party does not condone such actions. He emphasized the BJP’s recent focus on religious activities and support for the armed forces, contrasting this with the alleged attack. Rao further accused the Congress party of resorting to threats and intimidation against BJP leaders.

In a separate development, BJP leaders criticized notices issued to residents of three buildings in Bachupally, constructed within the full tank level (FTL) of Medigunta lake. Former vice president S. Malla Reddy questioned the timing of the eviction notices, considering residents have lived there for six years and the area has received municipal infrastructure. He highlighted the apparent contradiction with statements from HYDRAA (Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency) regarding the non-demolition of older structures. While supporting water body preservation, the BJP stressed the need to consider the interests of the affected residents.

The BJP also condemned Congress’ criticism of Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender, urging the ruling party to focus on policy issues and refrain from personal attacks.
