**New Delhi/Bhubaneswar, [Date]:** The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), warning of a potential dust storm with heavy winds (50-60 km/h), thunderstorms, and rain. The alert advises residents to avoid open areas and stay away from weak structures due to the risk of falling trees and power outages. While Delhi experienced 13 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours and a relatively cool high of 37.8°C on Sunday, the IMD predicts partly cloudy skies and a high of 39°C on Monday.
